Holger ‘Nick’ Hornum

Holger Nicholas Hornum was born and grew up on the Sunshine Coast.

Holger’s journey into osteopathy began with his own back injuries as he was inspired to find lasting pain relief. Initially, he studied remedial massage at Q Academy (Newstead) and graduated in 2010. Continuation along this pathway saw him discover the power of yoga and resistance exercise. Holger pursued rigorous training at Southern Cross University, immersing himself in the art and science of osteopathy. His dedication and five years of full-time study paid off, and he graduate with a Masters of Osteopathy in 2017. After working as an Osteopath in the Northern Rivers for five years, Holger and his family moved back to the Sunshine Coast in 2021. Holger now brings his expertise and experience to his own clinic, Osteophi. When he is not in the clinic, you will find him on the rugby sideline, painting, or spending time out in nature with his wife, and children.

Patricia brings to the clinic a wealth of experience and has worked in health care for over 30 years. She was attracted to studying Osteopathy due to her own experiences as a patient. Patricia’s clinical experience has been broad, working in both sports-medicine and natural therapy focused clinics, and in solo practice. Her thorough approach is multi-faceted, and not purely biomechanical. When treating, Patricia’s ensures her patients feel properly heard and involved in their own care. Patricia has a Masters Degree in Osteopathy, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Western Sydney, and a Diploma in Health Science. She has worked in Sydney, Bowral, and the Sunshine Coast. She loves to spend time with her friends, cooking-for and entertaining her friends and dressing up to dance her socks off doing different styles of Latin dancing.

James has an extensive history in the fitness industry. He has been a certified remedial massage therapist for the past seven years and has gained a wealth of experience in the field. His passion lies in helping people improve their range of motion, recover from injuries and relieve pain, which he achieves through his skillful manipulation of muscles and soft tissues.

He takes great pride in his work and is dedicated to providing his clients with personalised care and attention to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Thai and Remedial Massage Therapist

Pandy is originally from Thailand and has been living on the Sunshine Coast for five years. She is a passionate, qualified Traditional Thai and Remedial Massage therapist who loves helping people. Previously, she trained in Traditional Thai Massage in Thailand and has since broadened her skillset to encompass Remedial Massage.

During a treatment Pandy may incorporate styles such as Sports Massage, Remedial Thai Massage Combination, Deep Tissue Massage, Relaxation and Reflexology Massage to get the best outcomes for her clients. She enjoys performing massage to help reduce aches and pains for people.

Kate Tessler is a dedicated Remedial Massage Therapist with a comprehensive range of specialties including Remedial, Relaxation, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Foundational, Brazilian, and Post Operative), Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release (MFR), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), and Neuromuscular Energy Technique (NMET).
With a functional testing approach for every client at each appointment, Kate ensures individualised and precise treatments. She holds a firm belief in maintaining tissue integrity and only employs deep tissue techniques when specifically beneficial to address imbalances. Additionally, Kate has some knowledge of Hawaiian which enriches her practice
